Over the curse of my career, I always struggled with the fact that privacy for surf coaching is a difficult task to achieve, due to the fact we always working at the beach talking to athletes, customers, parents and everyone involved on the activity at public places, like parking lots, coffee shops, restaurants etc. making it a bit difficult to keep privacy, especially when video analysis has to be performed.

This trigged me to go out and search for a solution, of course the first one was to rent a place at the beach, like a surf school or some space in order to perform the meetings with athletes, parents, customers etc and also do the video analysis sessions, but that is an expensive solution and also limited, beca as surfers we change spots on regular basis.

Over the past few years, I started to design the perfect solution for a nomad activity such as surf coaching and came up with the perfect solution: a moving office, yes! So, I got a Van and started to transform it into my moving office.

The process took me over six months working on the weekends only, from the design, buying all the material and building it to the legalizing part, as in Portugal every modified vehicle needs to be inspected, what an adventure. Now all my students benefit from a in loco video analysis no matter where we train, the impact on their evolution its notable.

If the thing you need doesn’t exist, then built it.
